One price, the whole season

We design it, install it, maintain it, then take it down.

The lights stay ours. That is what makes the rest of it work: we maintain them through the season, pull them down in January, label them, and put them back up next year exactly as they were.

Nothing goes in your attic. There is no service-call charge when a bulb fails. And if you stay with us, your rate stays where it started.

$10per foot of roofline

Displays start at $1,000. Most homes we do land between $1,500 and $5,000 depending on how much of the property gets lit.

Why a roofing company

Your roof isn’t the place to hire the cheapest guy with a ladder.

Southeast Lights is the lighting division of a licensed roofing contractor. The hazard in this job was never the lights. It is the height, and it is the roof underneath.

Roof-trained crews, not seasonal help

The people on your roof in November are on roofs in July. They read pitch, set ladders properly, move on shingles without scuffing them, and know which attachment points are safe. A steep pitch two stories up is a working environment, not a Saturday errand, and it is the height that hurts people rather than the lights.

No holes. No unnecessary penetrations.

Standard installations use non-penetrating clips designed for shingles, gutters and trim, plus hot glue where a clip will not hold. We do not use staples, screws or nails unless a customer specifically requests a different method and we agree to it in writing.

Professional equipment for the work

Residential crews carry professional ladders and roof-traction footwear and pitch equipment for steep work. Commercial installations use boom lifts, bucket trucks and articulating lifts. Nothing about this job should involve balancing on a dining chair.

Organized warehouse shelving with labeled bins and neatly coiled light strands ready for next season

After the season

We take it down, and we keep it.

Takedown and storage are in the price, not an add-on you get billed for in January. Your lighting comes back to our warehouse, labelled to your address, and waits there until next season.

  • Your display, boxed and racked

Every strand comes down in January and goes into bins that stay yours. Nothing is pooled, cut down for another property or thrown at the next customer with a similar roofline.

  • Labelled and tracked by property

Bins are labelled to the address, and the run lengths, clip counts and colour are recorded with them. That record is why year two goes up faster than year one and looks identical.

  • Nothing in your garage

No tubs in the attic, no tangle to inherit next November, no strand that half lights when you plug it in. You never store any of it, because storage is part of what you already paid for.

Melanie RouzanoSoutheast Roofing customer

Everyone was very professional and courteous. Southeast Roofing worked with us and presented many options of materials and colors. The crew worked fast, but meticulously. The cleanup was more than I expected. I am very pleased.

LynneSoutheast Roofing customer

Only company I'll use. Fast, professional and friendly. Worked with the insurance company and handled everything from start to finish. Highly recommend

How it works

Five steps, and you are only involved in the first one.

  • 01

    Tell us about the property

Send the address and a few photos, or build a display in the estimator. Most residential quotes never need a site visit first, because we can measure from aerial imagery.

  • 02

    We design and price it

You get a layout and a fixed price for the whole season. Commercial and community projects also get a visual concept you can put in front of a board.

  • 03

    We install on your date

Commercial-grade lighting, custom cut to your property. Timers, cords and connections included. Most residential installations are finished in a day.

  • 04

    We keep it running

Something fails, we come fix it, at no extra charge. Larger installations get our own night inspections roughly every couple of weeks so we find problems before you do.

  • 05

We take it down and store it

Takedown starts mid-January. Everything is labeled and stored under your property's name, which is why next season goes up faster and looks identical.
