Commercial Building Lighting
We light office buildings and corporate properties where the brief is restraint: clean lines, one color temperature and nothing that reads as novelty.
What matters here
What commercial buildings actually need from a lighting contractor.
Restraint, not novelty
Corporate properties usually want a single clean line of warm white and nothing else. Doing less, precisely, is harder than doing more.
Height and access planned
Multi-story parapets need lift equipment and a site plan. We survey access before quoting, not on install day.
Architectural lighting year-round
Many corporate properties start with a Christmas display and move to permanent architectural lighting once they see the building lit.
Budget
Commercial projects are priced to scope, not to a rate card.
Tell us the range you are working within and we will design to it. Most commercial and community projects fall somewhere in these bands.
- Under $5,000
- $5,000 - $10,000
- $10,000 - $25,000
- $25,000 - $50,000
- $50,000+
We take work across the state when the project justifies the trip. Crews mobilize and stay rather than commuting, so a two-hour drive changes the schedule far less than people expect.
Questions
What organizations ask us
Do you light commercial properties and HOAs?
Yes, and it is the work we are built for. We light HOAs and master-planned communities, churches, municipalities, hotels and resorts, country clubs, retail centers, restaurants, apartment communities and commercial buildings. Commercial projects get a written scope, a design concept, proof of insurance and a fixed seasonal price rather than a verbal quote.
Do commercial projects include design renderings?
Yes, we can provide visual lighting concepts for commercial and community projects. Send us photographs of the property, or a site plan if you have one, and we will show you what the finished display would look like before you commit to anything. This matters most for HOA boards and committees who need to show a decision to other people.
How quickly do you respond to maintenance calls?
Our goal is next-business-day service for in-season maintenance. For larger commercial and community installations we also run scheduled night inspections roughly every couple of weeks, which means most failures are found and corrected by us before anyone reports them.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Southeast Lights operates as the lighting division of Southeast Roofing LLC, a licensed Mississippi roofing contractor, and this work is covered by the same license and the same insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request for commercial, HOA and municipal projects.
How far do you travel?
Residential displays are normally within about an hour of Hattiesburg, and commercial work within about two hours, covering South Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. For larger commercial and community projects we travel statewide. If a project is substantial, distance is a scheduling question rather than a reason to say no.
Do you do Mardi Gras lighting?
Yes, particularly along the Gulf Coast. Purple, green and gold lighting on rooflines, balconies, columns and trees for businesses, hospitality properties, communities and homes. Many Coast properties book a Christmas display and a Mardi Gras display together, which is more efficient than treating them as separate projects.
